As someone who considers themselves a foodie, this was an acquired taste for me. However, Hinni (I hope I spelt it right)was so helpful in bringing out a recommendation that would work for me. It was a mix of different types of peas, lentils, potatoes that seemed mashed with tumeric and a carrot and cabbage mix. All I can say is 10/10, service 10/10, the ambiance, 10/10. They have a mix of music that not only represents their culture but caters to a diverse crowd from Afrobeats to 90s - 2000s R&B. The hookah is delicious and they were very knowledgeable of the service offered which is a bonus in my book. I will definitely be back!
Food was amazing! Really answered all of our questions in regards to trying this new cuisine. Told them our desired taste profiles and they brought out the PERFECT dishes! That just goes to show that they KNOW their food. Very warming atmosphere, music was perfect and versatile, hookah can be mixed with as many flavors as possible (no up charge), natural coal doesn't burn out! If you're looking for a GREAT hookah lounge with a one of a kind experience, this is certainly the spot. 1000/10 recommend.

The best hookah lounge I've been in VA. The customer service is great . The people are amazing. It's a really nice place to hang out work friends and also to relax and chill.
The place is laid out more of a lounge/cafe style which gives it a more intimate feeling - their aren't really high ceilings and makes it feel more cozy then a big open restaurant or lounge. The music adds a nice feel and space to come in to do work, chill with friends, or even a date night if you're into hookah and good vibes. The decor is on point and they have very comfy seating options. They also serve food and drinks which is nice but I've only had their tea, Turkish coffee, and falafel wrap and fries and they were all tasty. The hookah also taste great and lasts long. They do a great job at rotating out coals throughout the time you're there and offer lotus head for more of a cleaner hookah session but they also offer natural/coco nara coals too. Overall the feeling of Afrandina is overall chill but can be a fun vibe too later in the night with good ppl working there that care about what they do. I make this my work and chill spot and plan on having some friends come so we can play cards or something too while enjoying a good atmosphere of people- Telaleh is amazing, music, and hookah of course. Very affordable for the service and items ordered. Note there is also a hookah "happy hour" too before 4p. I will be back and appreciated the music and overall vibe of this lounge - a very family/community feeling!
Great food and juice selection! The staff who runs the place really know what they are doing as well! This is a good place to come and relax in the evening and an even better place to study during the day because of the cozy individual booths. Exceptional and friendly service can be expected, definitely coming here again!
This place is absolutely adorable! Was very surprised to see it there. It was my first time. The decor is very unique and they have clearly put a lot of thought and energy into it. Everyone gets their little nook with its own decor. The service is great! They are very attentive and friendly. We got hookah, tea, kunafeh. The hookah was alright but the tea and dessert were absolutely delicious! Prices were typical for a hookah lounge in the area. They have big screen TV's with sports as well. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and definitely recommend it!
